Hexagate and eOracle Unveil Gate Security Oracle, Offering a Robust ‘DeFi Firewall’
The development of secure and decentralized protocols must prioritize the problem of trust and security. Due to present-day design trade-offs, projects often forego decentralization in favor of infrastructure that enables them to run efficiently, such as access to external market data. Simultaneously, this undermines the project’s general security, which in turn makes it more difficult to get users and build a reputation.
Hexagate, a frontrunner in real-time Web3 security, is launching The Gate Security Oracle, built on the industry-leading eOracle stack, the leading AVS on EigenLayer. When it comes to decentralized security protocols based on machine learning, Gate is the pioneer.
Yaniv Nissenboim, Co-Founder and CEO at Hexagate stated:
“In the past two years, we pioneered real-time proactive security and built a battle-tested ML and invariant monitoring engines that today protects over $50 billion in TVL across various protocols, chains, bridges, and asset managers. But a decentralized space also needs decentralized security. As a first move in this direction we decided to partner with eOracle as the OVS model represents a groundbreaking innovation to enable modularity in the middleware layer. We’re really excited about this, and fully believe it will spark a new wave of innovation in the space.”
The launch of EigenLayer Actively Validated Services (AVSs) allows services to leverage the security of staked ETH, which overcomes the trade-offs between centralization and security. These services benefit from the billions of dollars worth of ETH that are locked in for the re-staking protocol. eOracle, the leading AVS protocol in terms of stake and validators network. leverages re-staked ETH to ensure that modular oracle networks stay secure, thanks to its huge effective security budget.
Matan Si, founder of eoracle stated:
“When we started building eoracle, we aimed to closely follow Justin Drake and Vitalik Buterin’s enshrined Oracle EIP proposals. However, we soon realized that while Ethereum provides an ideal architecture, it is not practical for most use cases. Heavy computation and fast connectivity require a dedicated, immutable layer. To address this, we developed eOracle as a modular and programmable layer designed for both data and computation. This system leverages Ethereum validators and staked ETH to ensure shared security. The future is modular and not just for blockchains but for middleware as well. Just as Layer 2 solutions have significantly broadened the scope of scalable applications, AVS will usher in a similar wave of innovation in the coming years. AVS are the new L2s.’’
Eoracle is now the most secure crypto oracle solution, with over $5 billion in staked ETH supporting its oracle network. It also has over 110 validators spread around the world and over 120,000 stakers.
Robust Native DeFi Firewall
Builders will be able to use Hexgate’s tried-and-true ML models to protect their on-chain protocols from intruders and other dangers using Gate’s Security Oracle, which is based on the eOracle stack and uses the Oracle Validated Service (OVS) model. The incorporation of a native “DeFi Firewall” that counteracts attacks prior to their occurrence is made possible by these protocols.
Providing rapid connectivity and computing capacity for infrastructure needs that require it, OVSs extend the current notion of blockchain modularity into the middleware arena.
