Chromia Announces $20 Million Data and AI Ecosystem Fund and 'Asgard' Mainnet Upgrade
Layer 1 relationship blockchain Chromia has announced a $20 million data and AI ecosystem fund and plans to upgrade its “Asgard” mainnet at the TOKEN2049 conference in Singapore. The fund, which will be led by Yeou Jie, Head of Business Development, is said to support data-intensive projects and AI applications. At the same time, Chromia will launch the “Asgard” main network upgrade in the fourth quarter of 2024, adding new extensions to support prophecy machines, AI model computation and zero-knowledge proofs to further expand its platform ecosystem.
According to the relevant plan, the Chromia Data and AI Ecosystem Fund has already started accepting applications, and the “Asgard” main network upgrade is expected to go live at the end of this year, with the “Extension” function being developed according to the plan, and is expected to be fully launched in 2025. The “Extension” functionality will also be developed as planned and is expected to be fully rolled out in 2025.
