Lookonchain monitoring shows that a whale with 398,891 ETH ($1.14 billion) started selling after more than 8 years of dormancy today. In the past 6 hours, 13,400 ETH ($37.38 million) has been sold, with an average selling price of $2,790. On-chain monitoring has identified 28 wallets that accumulated ETH starting in January 2016, with an average ETH cost of about $3.5. All 28 wallets transferred ETH to new wallets in August 2016, and these 28 wallets are likely owned by the same whale.
