The cryptocurrency exchange launched in early 2024 by British fintech giant Revolut will now offer its services to customers in 30 countries in the European Economic Area. According to the company's official statement, the move will "position Revolut X as a competitive platform" for crypto traders.
With the expansion of Revolut X, we aim to make a real impact on the cryptocurrency trading space and offer a trusted alternative to some of the more established platforms,” said Head of Product at cryptocurrency exchange Revolut Leonid Bashlykov.
Revolut representatives specified that new customers will be able to trade more than 200 cryptocurrencies, as well as use trading analytics and market monitoring tools integrated with TradingView charts in real time. To access all the crypto exchange features, users will need a Revolut account in the European Economic Area or the UK. Most of the users' assets will be stored in "cold" storage.
According to Revolut, it has over 45 million customers worldwide. The company has been offering cryptocurrency trading services since 2017. In 2024, the organization launched its own crypto exchange, Revolut X, in the UK.
