Gaming Tokens Gain 28%, SAND, APE, and AKsS Lead Rally

As the crypto market fever intensified, the gaming sector also recovered, registering huge and unexpected price increases for several tokens. Over the past 24 hours, the crypto gaming segment has recouped 28% and is now valued at $5,71 billion (data from crypto data aggregator CoinGecko).

One of the best performing tokens in terms of growth has been The Sandbox (SAND). It has gained 59% in the last 24 hours and is trading at $0,6305. The crypto asset has also gained 75% in the last week, and has soared 30% in the last 140 days.

Some analysts suggest that SAND could see a surge of up to 800% this season. However, the coin is trading 92% below its all-time high.

Followed by Axie Infinity (AXS), which has registered a 22% gain in the last 24 hours. The gains push AXS's weekly gain to a whopping 40%, while token is valued at $8. However, even taking this into account, AXS is 13% below its opening price for the year.

Today ApeCoin (APE) also posted a 10% gain, trading at $1,34. It has gained 20% in the last week, while the crypto asset is 20% below its January high. Moreover, it is 95% below its all-time high.
