Blockchain Center Abu Dhabi Partners with Aethir for $100M Ecosystem Fund
Aethir, a leading GPU-as-a-service platform, has partnered with The Blockchain Center Abu Dhabi (ADBC) to foster Web3 innovation in the MENA region.
This collaboration will focus on advancing AI and gaming projects through Aethir’s $100 million Ecosystem Fund, which includes GPU subsidies and token grants for eligible ventures in Abu Dhabi and the broader region.
Aethir, with its extensive decentralized GPU cloud infrastructure, offers high-performance computing solutions that cater to AI and gaming companies.
ADBC, a key player in the UAE’s Web3 space, will support the onboarding of these projects, providing regulatory, business, and market entry expertise to ensure their success in the region.
The Aethir Ecosystem Grant Program targets four key categories of projects:
- Gaming Innovators: Blockchain-based gaming projects pushing the boundaries of Web3 gaming and engaging large, active user bases.
- AI-Integrated Enterprises: Companies developing AI solutions requiring intensive computing power, including LLM training and AI inference.
- Cloud Gaming Platforms: Platforms seeking to expand user engagement with premium cloud infrastructure.
- Pre-Launch Companies: Stealth-mode startups preparing for milestones such as TGEs or Beta launches.
It is worth noting that ADBC will form a committee to source startups, providing expertise in regulatory compliance, business strategy, and market entry in the UAE, and Aethir will offer compute subsidies and token grants to eligible applicants, with projects required to use its cloud infrastructure or partner via native tokens.
Aethir and ADBC’s partnership also aims to drive the global expansion of Web3 innovation, focusing on AI and gaming projects in the MENA region. AI is transforming industries with advanced tools like AI agents and blockchain applications, while gaming companies are enhancing gameplay through AI and Web3 solutions.
This collaboration marks the beginning of Aethir and ADBC’s efforts to support and scale promising AI and gaming projects, with the potential to explore new technological areas in the future.
Details about the grant application, selection process and timeline will be shared in the near future through Aethir’s official channels.
