PENGU's on-chain trading volume breaks through $1.20 billion, and the airdrop boom continues to heat up

On December 18th, according to SolanaFloor data, PENGU's trading volume on the Solana chain exceeded $1.20 billion in the past 24 hours, surpassing the trading volume of stablecoin USDT ($900 million) and ranking first.
As of now, the popularity of the PENGU airdrop activity has not decreased. According to the statistics of flipsidecrypto, 924,900 wallets have successfully received the airdrop, with a total of 18 billion PENGU tokens issued, accounting for 44.4% of the total airdrop. In addition, there are still 22.60 billion tokens waiting to be received, with an average of about 19,500 PENGU received per wallet.
The popularity of PENGU is not only reflected in the transaction volume and airdrop, but also the on-chain sales of its NFT project "Pudgy Penguins" have exceeded $500 million, reaching $517,848,546. The current total number of on-chain sales transactions is 62,102, and the number of NFT holders has reached 5,004.
This series of data shows that the performance of PENGU token in the on-chain ecosystem is increasingly strong, and customer engagement enthusiasm continues to rise, which may further promote the growth of the Solana ecosystem.
