SlowMist CISO: The addresses leaked by the OpenSea email service provider in the attack are now fully public
@im23pds, the Chief Information Security Officer of SlowMist, posted a reminder on social media that in 2024, OpenSea's email service provider was attacked, resulting in email leaks. After multiple transmissions, the leaked email addresses have now been completely exposed. Please be aware of the related risks and be vigilant against phishing emails and other potential cyber attacks, including CZ's email address.
Previously reported, on June 30, 2024, according to official news from OpenSea, a Customer.io employee, the email delivery provider, abused their employee access to download user email information, and also shared related email addresses with unauthorized external parties. The email supplier security incident has been reported to law enforcement agencies.
