Musk: US DOGE has terminated 85 contracts related to DEIA, saving taxpayers over $1 billion
As of January 29, Musk posted on x that the U.S. Government Efficiency Department (DOGE) has prompted the termination of 85 contracts related to DEIA (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility) in 24 government departments including the Department of Education, GSA, OPM, EPA, Department of Labor, Treasury Department and Defense Department. The total amount is approximately $1 billion.
