JPMorgan: 71% of institutional traders do not plan to trade cryptocurrencies this year
in JPMorgan's electronic trading survey of institutional traders, over 70% of respondents stated that they do not plan to trade cryptocurrencies this year.
The Wall Street giant's survey of institutional traders in January showed that "most traders have no plans to trade cryptocurrencies".
The results showed that this proportion dropped from 78% in 2024 to 71% in 2025. The survey also found that 16% of people plan to trade cryptocurrencies this year, and 13% of people said they are already trading cryptocurrencies. Both of these numbers are higher than in 2024.
