1inch integrates ZKsync to enhance cross-chain exchange speed and reduce costs
According to CoinDesk, the decentralized exchange aggregator 1inch Network has integrated Ethereum's Layer-2 scaling solution ZKsync, aiming to provide a faster and more cost-effective cross-chain trading experience. ZKsync is built on zero-knowledge technology, offering faster transaction speeds and lower Gas fees than the main Ethereum network while maintaining its security.
1inch stated that this integration uses its Fusion+ technology, which launched a Beta version last September and has facilitated millions of dollars in transaction volume. The system provides bridgeless, trustless cross-chain exchanges where network fees are paid by "resolvers" who stake 1INCH tokens through a bidding mechanism rather than users bearing the Gas costs.
ZKsync is advancing its expansion plan with an aim to achieve 10,000 transactions per second and explore the possibility of future zero-fee transactions. Recently, Swiss banking giant UBS also tested ZKsync technology to optimize its gold-backed financial products.
