Michael Saylor 支持「讓大銀行託管比特幣」！ V 神痛斥：胡說八道

MicroStrategy 執行董事長 Michael Saylor 過去相當推崇「由用戶自行託管加密貨幣」，但最近卻轉而支持「把比特幣交給金融機構託管」，還說這麼做「又不會帶來損失」，引來加密貨幣社群反擊，就連以太坊共同創辦人 Vitalik Buterin 也忍不住痛斥「完全是在胡說八道」。

在 10 月 21 日的採訪中 ，Michael Saylor 先是建議投資人將比特幣託管交由「大而不倒」的金融機構，接著又表示，持有者將比特幣轉移到大銀行並不會帶來實質風險或損失。

Michael Saylor 還表示，擔心政府沒收比特幣是「不必要的恐懼」，批評這些想法是「偏執的加密貨幣無政府主義者」的幻想。

這些言論與 Michael Saylor 過去提倡的「自我保管」理念相悖，令許多比特幣支持者感到驚訝，21st Capital 共同創辦人 Sina 、《Bank to the Future》作者 Simon Dixon 都質疑，Michael Saylor 的態度轉變很可能是為了推進 MicroStrategy 向「比特幣銀行」轉型，不少人都警告稱，這種做法可能會讓用戶面臨傳統金融體系固有的脆弱性。

對此，以太坊共同創辦人 Vitalik Buterin 也直斥，Michael Saylor 的言論完全是胡說八道，且似乎在明確主張透過「監管俘虜」來保護加密貨幣。 Vitalik Buterin 認為，這種策略不僅瘋狂，而且失敗的先例也不少，關鍵還違背了加密貨幣的核心精神。
