Data: Sophon raises over $60 million through node sales
ChainCatcher reported that according to CoinDesk, the zkSync-based modular blockchain Sophon raised more than $60 million through node sales. A total of about 121,000 network nodes were sold this time, netting about 20,391 ETH (worth $62.7 million).
According to people familiar with the matter, many nodes may have been purchased by venture capital firms.
It is reported that in the draft token economic model of SOPH, nodes are allocated 20% (released in 36 months, and will be locked for an additional 3 months after receiving).
