On March 7, 2025, a16z released the fourth edition of the Top 100 Generative AI Consumer Applications list based on monthly active users. The list includes the TOP 50 AI Web applications and TOP 50 AI mobile applications, with outstanding performance from Chinese AI. In the TOP 50 AI Web applications list, Deepseek ranked second, Doubao under ByteDance ranked 10th, Kimi ranked 11th, Hai Luo AI under MiniMax ranked 12th, PolyBuzz under Homework Helper ranked 19th, Keling AI under Kwai ranked 20th, Talkie under MiniMax ranked 39th, Monica under the Manus development team, which has recently gained popularity, ranked 41st, and Picwish (Zotang) ranked 49th. In the TOP 50 AI mobile applications list, Chinese AI applications such as Baidu AI Search, Quark AI Search, Doubao, Deepseek, Talkie, Meitu, BeautyPlus, HiTranslate, etc., made it to the list.
