Flip flop only accounts for a macro view where one talks moon one day and then doom the next in an instance. Seems so few people understand that trading is completely different. Each time frame has its own trend. you get so many different styles of trading. When we are early cycle/mid cycle it's easy to have a sit back position..then there comes times to be reactive to what the market gives you especially if things gets murky. If you are a long term investor and do not trade then it should be your priority to realize when things change on a macro HTF view and then you need to act upon that as well. No one will help you make those decisions. If things have not changed for you then stand your ground-I will never encourage you to sell any coin..I will however encourage you to make a plan. Even when I say that to try and help if things goes south then its an issue because I am leaning bearish when all it is - is to encourage a plan for either making money or a plan to protect your capital so that you can increase or eventually increase your coins. I got a comment that said I can not sell at a 30% loss. I thought the same with 2021 down turn..some of those coins went from a 30 to a 98% loss- do not get stuck..go through 5's comments and you will see he says it was very hard to sell his spot at a loss but because he done so he could then buy back lower..ride it..then sold higher again. Obviously 5 trades and has learned to flow with the market, but I am trying to make a point that sometimes it's better to survive- especially of you have leverage plays then it's important to protect yourself. If you are in spot then learn to recognize weakness in your chosen time frame. If it's the very high time frame like from a cycle pov then unfortunately that weakness will only become evident later. That's why following a plan is important. Same goes for strength when a cycle starts. Have your system or your signals. And if you just go of macro views then use that as well. If you don't know anything then a simple dca strategy is one of the most proven win strategies out there..dca in and dca out. I try and look at most things for confluence and have my way of reading trend which allows me to catch bottoms and tops..but if I DO miss them which can happen and will happen at times then I also work from weakness and strength on certain time frames..also work from certain levels. Which can be played in both directions. Also TA ALWAYS work..charts always 1st. It does not mean it does not work if it does not allign with your bias anymore. Cycles always remain. "It's different". It's not..cycles change dynamically over time. You also get left and right translated cycles. You get different types of cycles inside bigger cycles..again time frame dependant. David Sacks has defended himself against recent allegations that he used his position to manipulate crypto markets, calling the claims baseless. Speaking in a new episode of The All-In Podcast, the White House AI and crypto czar addressed accusations that he engaged in a scheme to inflate his crypto holdings for personal gain. “People came out right away and were saying that somehow I was engaged in a scheme to pump my bags or to basically create exit liquidity for myself,” Sacks said, arguing that these claims are serious since they amount to accusations of a crime. Sacks reiterated that he had divested all his crypto holdings before joining the administration to avoid any appearance of a conflict of interest. He confirmed in an earlier statement that he had sold Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana. “When it comes to crypto, there are going to be fluctuations in the market,” he explained. “You never want someone to be able to point at one of those fluctuations and say somehow that the cryptos are benefited from that and create a conspiracy theory, which is exactly what basically happened.” Sacks disclosed that he and his venture firm Kraft had liquidated approximately $200 million in crypto assets, of which $85 million was personally attributable to him. “We cleared that before day one, paid taxes on it, and basically said there wouldn’t be a conflict,” he stated, adding that the scrutiny then shifted; people claimed that even if he didn’t own crypto, he was still invested in crypto funds. Sacks clarified that beyond direct crypto holdings, he also withdrew from multiple crypto-focused investment funds, including positions in Bitwise, Multicoin Capital , and Blockchain Capital. “At this point, I think they’ve basically given up on this narrative,” Sacks said.
